Mouton Media produced a video for the Trombone Shorty Academy at Tulane University with videographer and editor Jake Springfield. The famous New Orleans musician, who started playing the trombone at 4 years of age, created the program to preserve the musical heritage of New Orleans. The evening program teaches young musicians about the realities of the music industry – from helping them improve their craft to educating them about the business side. We chronicled the progress of students selected for the inaugural semester at Tulane. It won an Award of Excellence from the New Orleans chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. Watch the video and you’ll be excited about the future of jazz in New Orleans.
